Pennsylvania Hotel Reservations
During your next visit to Pennsylvania Dutch Country head for Hershey and check out Hershey Gardens. At 23 acres in overall area, Hershey Gardens is one of the premier botanical gardens and arboretums in the state.
Drive in from nearby Harrisburg and enjoy a tour of the grounds – it's a near ideal destination for birding fans. Climb to the top of Pat's Hill, which overlooks Hersheypark, and enjoy all of the natural foliage. Originally opened in 1937 as the 3.5-acre Rose Garden, it was expanded upon in 1939 and 1941 by Milton Hershey. In 1989, Hershey Gardens became a part of the M.S. Hershey Foundation, a non-profit organization.
On your tour of Hershey Gardens, try to explore as much as possible – head for the Memorial Garden, Children's Garden, or Perennial Garden and enjoy. Many guests of Hershey Gardens find their way to the Bill Bowman Garden, Italian Rose Garden, and Mrs. Hershey's Rose Garden.
