Penn State Erie, The Behrend College
Plan your next visit to Pennsylvania and head for the far northwest corner of the state. Travel north from Grove City and see the sights in Erie, a charming lakeside city. One of the premier sights to see is Penn State Erie - The Behrend College. You'll find The Behrend College just west of I-90 and adjacent to the Gospel Hill Golf Course.
Established in 1948, The Behrend College is public, land-grant university, and it's one of the four "Commonwealth campuses" affiliated with Penn State University. The school is named in honor of Mary Behrend, who donated a 400-acre plot to PSU in 1948. Students at The Behrend College choose from 34 different bachelor's programs, and two master's programs.
