Wells Fargo Center
The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia is a multi-purpose venue built in 1996. It's the home ice of the Philadelphia Flyers, home court of the Philadelphia 76ers, and home field of the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.
Originally known as the CoreStates Center, then the First Union Center, then the Wachovia Center, it became Wells Fargo Center in 2011. Found directly south of Lincoln Financial Field – home of the Philadelphia Eagles – Wells Fargo Center accommodates up to 21,315 fans for basketball games, 20,327 fans for hockey games, and 17,597 during the arena football season. Aside from hosting local pro sports teams, Wells Fargo Center has also hosted major events like the WWE Royal Rumble in 2004, the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for gymnastics in 2008, and the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
